Asbury Hotel

CLIENT: ISTAR LOCATION: Asbury Park, NJ

Transforming an old abandoned
building into a hip new hotel.

A complete multi-million dollar renovation of an old Salvation Army building into a hip hotel that won national recognition, our team worked in all areas and on all aspects of this project. The first new hotel to open in Asbury Park in nearly 50 years, this 7-story, 110-room hotel was no small project.

Despite the neglected condition of the old abandoned building, our team was up to the challenge! We supplied and installed a number of surfaces from ceramic and porcelain tile to hardwood and broadloom. Our experienced team of professionals and project managers were able to self-level the floors, install mud set pans, design rubber tile for the guest rooms in a parquet pattern and even install wainscot walls. (see below for more details)

Our very first job for Fields Construction, our relationship blossomed from this successful project allowing us to continue working with their team on a number of new projects.
