CLIENT: TWO TREES LOCATION: BROOKLYN, NY

Multi-surface, large scale,
ground up new highrise on a tight timeline

The 300 Ashland project was a new construction high-rise building in the heart of the Brooklyn Cultural District. The buildout required both intense project management as well as very technical installations across multiple surfaces. In an effort to deliver an impeccable job, we started by self-leveling 215k sq feet of flooring to ensure proper installation and longevity of the floorcovering.

The Shehadi executive team helped to influence the apartment wood flooring assembly specification to address the challenges of building across all four seasons, and combat the typical wood flooring complications of temperature and humidity. A challenging site with a tight timeline, made it (almost) impossible to install multiple finishes throughout the building, but in the end the Shehadi team delivered 279 residential units over 35 stories on-time and on-budget.
